Corrosion Monitoring Technology

■ Monitoring and evaluation of crude oil properties (primarily sulfur content and acid value) This enables timely assessment of changes in the sulfur content and acid value of crude oil, facilitating the development of blending strategies to guide corrosion‑prevention measures in processing units. ■ Sulfur and acid‑value analysis of key distillate fractions from the distillation and secondary processing units This helps identify the patterns and distribution of corrosive characteristics across different fractions, enabling the implementation of targeted corrosion‑control measures.

Equipment Corrosion Inspection and Assessment Technology

■ Development of a Equipment Corrosion Inspection Plan The main components of the equipment corrosion inspection plan include the primary targets of the inspection, inspection methods, descriptions of corrosion phenomena, analysis of corrosion products, photographic documentation of typical corrosion morphologies, personnel requirements and task assignments, as well as quality and safety assurance measures (HSE). Additionally, it involves collecting and reviewing the unit’s emergency repair records for the current cycle, online corrosion monitoring data, start-up and shutdown logs, changes in process conditions, and variations in crude oil properties—including information on chemical additives.

Quality Control and Supervision of Anti-Corrosion and Thermal Insulation Lining Projects

Establish a specialized team and adopt a project‑management approach to professionally oversee related anti‑corrosion, insulation, and lining works, including reviewing and approving construction plans and quality‑assurance programs; conducting qualification assessments of contractors and their technical management personnel; inspecting and comparing materials; implementing quality control throughout the construction process; and carrying out final project acceptance. The team will also be subject to the owner’s supervision, management, and performance evaluation. The crude oil upgrading and product‑quality improvement project at the Changling Branch of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation commenced on October 18, with a processing capacity reflecting current crude‑oil throughput levels.

On-site and Remote Vibration Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis for Rotating Equipment

Vibration issues in critical rotating machinery are among the most common and complex challenges in plant operations, significantly impacting both equipment safety and the economic performance of enterprises. Our company has been engaged for over two decades in the research, development, and application of vibration monitoring, diagnosis, and predictive technologies for large-scale rotating equipment, accumulating extensive experience in fault diagnosis. The accuracy rates for identifying common faults and for vibration prediction both exceed 90%. In recent years, we have developed a “Remote Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis System for Large-Scale Rotating Equipment.”

On-site dynamic balancing of rotors

On-site rotor dynamic balancing is a technique that, without removing the equipment’s cover, addresses both the initial imbalance of rotating machinery rotors and imbalances that develop during operation by adding counterweights to the rotor. This method is convenient for field application; for rigid rotors, the typical job duration is 2–3 hours, while for flexible rotors, the time required depends on site-specific conditions. The company is equipped with the U.S.-made VB3000 on-site dynamic balancing system and a holographic on-site dynamic balancing system, which are used to perform on-site balancing for rigid and flexible rotors, respectively.

Vibration and Noise Assessment and Mitigation

During operation, mechanical equipment inevitably generates vibrations and noise of varying degrees. When operators work for extended periods in environments with high noise levels, their physical and mental health may be adversely affected; in severe cases, this can lead to occupational diseases. Vibration and noise assessment and control involve evaluating on-site measurement data against relevant vibration and noise standards and implementing appropriate mitigation measures for any non‑compliant findings, thereby bringing the levels within the permissible limits.
