Boiler Thermal Efficiency Test

■ Testing of flue gas composition and temperature at various sections of the boiler equipment ■ Testing of air preheater leakage rate ■ Sampling and analysis of various raw materials and ash residues ■ Analysis of boiler operating conditions Example: At a petrochemical company’s thermal power plant, testing of Boiler No. 2, a circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler, revealed low thermal efficiency, primarily due to incomplete chemical combustion.

Flue Gas Dew Point Monitoring and Analysis

By conducting tests to determine the flue gas dew point temperature range of heating furnaces and other equipment, and by appropriately controlling the flue gas outlet temperature, it is possible to eliminate dew-point corrosion, thereby ensuring efficient, safe, and long-term operation of the equipment. Dew-point instrument detection principle: An instrument probe equipped with a conductivity sensor is inserted into acidic flue gas. Any condensate that forms on the surface of the conductivity sensor can be detected as an electric current between two electrodes, with the magnitude of the current indicating the degree of condensation. <stron

Infrared Thermal Imaging Monitoring and Analytical Diagnosis of High-Temperature Furnace Tubes

■ Surface temperature monitoring and fault diagnosis for reheating furnaces and boilers ■ Monitoring and fault diagnosis of thermal insulation linings ■ Monitoring and diagnosis of other equipment faults that affect surface temperature variations Example 1: The infrared thermal image of a heating furnace tube in a coking unit is shown in the figure. Analysis indicates that the furnace tube is experiencing coking. Based on the monitoring results, the workshop implemented appropriate measures, enabling the furnace to operate safely under continuous surveillance.

Steam Turbine Condenser Performance Testing and Evaluation

■Condenser Performance Testing Conduct heat transfer tests, dissolved oxygen concentration tests, condensate subcooling tests, and water resistance tests for the condenser, as well as plot operational characteristic monitoring curves for the condenser. ■Plotting Condenser Performance Curves Under Variable Operating Conditions With a constant cooling water flow rate, three variable‑condition performance curves are obtained by adjusting the condenser steam load at three different cooling water inlet temperatures, providing reference for operating personnel. ■Condenser Vacuum Tightness
