Boiler Chemical Cleaning Technology
Introduction
Boiler cleaning involves removing corrosion products, scale, and other deposits that accumulate during boiler operation, thereby keeping the internal surfaces of thermal equipment clean, enhancing boiler thermal efficiency, improving steam‑water quality, preventing accidents caused by corrosion and scaling on heating surfaces, and ensuring smooth startup as well as safe, economical operation of the unit. Thanks to our strong technical expertise and proven track record, our company obtained Class A boiler‑cleaning qualifications as early as October 2005. To our knowledge, we are the only enterprise in the entire province of Hunan holding this qualification.
Technical Features
■ Inorganic acid cleaning formulation: short cleaning time, excellent performance, with a scale‑removal rate exceeding 95%; relatively low cost; stringent requirements for corrosion control (though appropriate corrosion inhibitors can meet relevant standards); disposal is cumbersome, requiring designated acid‑drainage locations such as coal yards or ash ditches; rinsing and passivation are carried out in a single step (no need to drain or rinse with water after rinsing—proceed directly to the passivation stage).
■ Organic acid cleaning (complexing) formulation: exhibits low corrosivity; delivers excellent rust and scale removal, with a descaling rate exceeding 90%; requires only a small dosage—3.0% or more already yields satisfactory results; demands relatively high operating temperatures, with optimal performance above 80°C; demonstrates effective results even under static soaking conditions; environmentally friendly, allowing direct discharge without causing pollution.
■ Neutral cleaning formulation: Low corrosivity; excellent rust and scale removal, particularly effective at completely eliminating rust deposits, with a descaling rate exceeding 96%; requires only a small dosage—1.5% or more delivers outstanding performance; operates under mild temperature and flow‑rate conditions, achieving good results at 40°C and superior results around 50°C, with excellent efficacy even during static soaking; non‑polluting, non‑irritating, environmentally friendly, and suitable for direct discharge.
■Excellent passivation performance: It forms a complete, dense gray passivation film with no pitting or secondary rusting.
