High-Frequency Welded Spiral Finned Tube
High-frequency welded spiral finned tubes are among the most widely used types of spiral finned tubes today, commonly employed in waste heat recovery in the petrochemical industry, as well as in power generation, metallurgy, cement production, and other sectors. During fabrication, a steel strip is wound around a steel pipe while high-frequency welding currents—leveraging the skin effect and proximity effect—heat both the steel strip and the outer surface of the pipe until they reach a plastic state or melt. Welding is then completed under a specified pressure applied to the wrapped steel strip. This high-frequency welding process is essentially a solid-state joining method. Compared with techniques such as insert welding, brazing, or full‑body hot‑dip galvanizing, it offers superior product quality, characterized by a high fin‑to‑tube weld integrity, reaching up to… In terms of both capacity (95%) and productivity as well as the level of automation, they are far more advanced.
